CARE FOR THE YOUNGEST MEMBERS OF OUR CHURCH FAMILY: Nursery supervisors needed at both the 10am and 4pm service beginning in July. This is a commitment of one Sunday per month. It is a meaningful investment of your time and an opportunity to meet others in our church family as you serve side by side in our church nursery. Interested? A FEW MORE PEOPLE NEEDED: We still need a few more people to lead our children’s program 4 or 5 Sundays this summer! We have a great need for worship leaders— you don’t need to play guitar to do this! We just need people who feel confident leading children in singing worship songs. URBANA ’09: Urbana ‘09 is a missions conference put on by Intervarsity Christian Fellowship every three years. It will be held at the convention center in St. Louis, Missouri from Dec 27-Jan 1, 2009. Members from our church body have gone as a group to Urbana for the last 16 years! It is that time again to register for this coming Urbana conference. The cost now before June 30th is $345 for students and $445 for non-students. For more information, or to register visit the website www.Urbana.org. KID’S CLUB DAY CAMP: Looking for a way to serve God and the community this summer? Help at Kid’s Club Day Camp! K.C.D.C. is a vacation bible school for children on the East Side of Santa Barbara and in Old Town Goleta. K.C.D.C. is happening in two locations this summer, on the East Side from July 6 – 10 and in Old Town Goleta from July 27 – 31. Both camps will be from 9:00 - 1:00 daily. There are many ways to be involved! If interested in helping July 6 – 10 on the East Side, contact Ruben and Holly Gil at rhgil@cox.net.

SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAM: Summer is here and so is our Summer Youth Program. We will be having regular events as well as weekly Youth Groups for all three groups. Their meeting times are as follows:
HIGH SCHOOL Youth Group will be meeting every Thursday evening from June 25th through August 6th, in the HS room from 6:30-8:30pm. High School will not be meeting on Sundays for the entirety of the summer. We encourage HS students to attend the 6pm service together. Occasional informal activities will be happening after the 6pm service throughout the summer. Our HS Intern, Nick Pope, will announce those as they occur.
JUNIOR HIGH Youth Group will be meeting every Tuesday evening from June 23rd through August 4th (except for June 30 - we are at camp), in the JH room from 6:30-8:30pm. In addition, JH will meet on Sundays, June 21, July 12, July 26, and August 9 during the 4pm service.
FIFTH-SIXTH Youth Group will be meeting every Sunday afternoon from June 21st through August 9th, (except July 19 - Forest Home), in the 5/6 room from 4ish-5:30pm (students will begin in the service, and then be excused to their room with their leaders).
