Welcome!
Santa Barbara Community Church is a non-denominational church dedicated to following and serving Jesus Christ as both Savior and Lord. We welcome your participation in our community.

Worship
We gather each Sunday* at 9:00am, 11:00am, and 5:00pm for celebration in worship, the study of God’s Word, the taking of the Lord's Supper and fellowship. Find contact information by clicking here.

We offer an ASL sign interpreter for the hearing impaired at our 11am service.  *Be sure to check our weekly Announcements for any special or changed service times which may occur around holidays or during our annual church retreat in April.

Children's & Youth Ministries
We consider children’s ministries to be an integral part of our discipleship program. We provide childcare for infants and toddlers, and children’s ministries activities at all three services including Children’s church, game time and Sunday school for preschool to 4th grade.  We see our role as partners with parents in their job as the primary educators of their children. For further information regarding our Children’s Ministries, please contact Trish Popp at e-mail or go to our Children's Ministries webpage. For information regarding Youth Ministry (5th-12th grade), contact Benji Bruneel at e-mail.

Other Ministries
For information about some of the other ministries of SBCC, including Women's and Men's ministries, please visit the "Church Life" tab of our website.

Homegroups
Santa Barbara Community Church encourages participation in homegroups. Homegroups gather one night a week (usually Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday) for worship, prayer, Bible study, sharing and fellowship. These groups involve some preparation and follow a discussion format. Interested? Call Susi Lamoutte (967-5673). Read more »

Retreats
We have an annual Santa Barbara Community Church retreat each spring for the entire church. In addition to this weekend away, we occassional hold a women's retreat and a men's retreat. The youth (4th grade through high school) go to summer camp at Forest Home and there are various shorter road trips during the year. Winter Forest Home camp is also available for the 5th-12th graders. Read more »

Mission
We believe God calls all of his children to be ministers (Ephesians 4:11-12). Our ministry is both to other believers and the world at large. Those in the church should be built up, encouraged, cared for and challenged. As this takes place the strengthened church turns her focus upon the world in the areas of evangelism and social concern.

Therefore, members of Santa Barbara Community Church are encouraged to participate in ministries inside and outside of the church. "Inside" ministries include teaching Sunday school, youth ministry, homegroup leadership, hospitality ministry, and more. "Outside" ministries include working with our sister church in Honduras, working with our Eastside Ministries here in Santa Barbara, caring for students in InterVarsity & Campus Crusade, supporting relief projects with World Relief, etc. (For more on the supported missions of SBCC click here).
