Summer Summer JH & HS Wed. Night Youth Group: Incoming Junior High and High School students meet Wednesday nights from 6:30pm-8:30pm at church. (Junior High will also meet on Sundays every other week at the 11am service). Summer Praxis - Starts July 10th: For those who are unable to join us during the school year for Praxis on Friday mornings, you're in luck! Summer Praxis is on Wednesdays from 7-8:30pm in the Community. Our series is called "A Man and His Work." This series was well received when we used it in the mornings last fall. If you'd like to be a part, RSVP to David Jahr so you can get updates.


Wednesday AM Prayer - Jul 3

Make it your aim to come consistently to Wednesday morning prayer.  Ben Patterson leads this time from 6:45-7:45am in the Fellowship Hall.  Learn how to use the scriptures to give direction to your prayers.  All are welcome!

Church in the Park & Picnic - Jul 7

We’ll meet for worship at Santa Barbara City College (West Campus next to Garvin Theater and the library) on Sunday, July 7th at 4pm. Free parking is available only at the upper City College parking lots. (There is NO assistance shuttle for Church in the Park.) BYOE Picnic afterwards! (“Bring Your Own Everything”. BBQs and drinks are NOT provided, so please plan accordingly.) Also bring chairs, blankets, balls, frisbees, etc. A morning service at 8:45am is offered on our church campus for those unable to come to City College.

Donate Your Cleats! Sports Equipment Collection for Missionaries

The Willbanks, Davises, Schultes, Mia Rapalo and Claire Bergthold are headed to El Salvador with Sports Outreach this July and would like to collect items for the missionaries we will be visiting. If you have any gently used soccer and/or basketball equipment or supplies, we’d love to bring them to those we are visiting. Please drop off at the church office by Friday, July 12th. Bringing The Outsider In: Book Of Ruth Small Group Curriculum.

Inspired by the powerful message of God the Redeemer in the book of Ruth as we heard it at the church retreat? Consider gathering a few friends and neighbors to explore the book together over five weeks this summer! Designed for those who have little or no familiarity with the Bible, Dr. Sandy Richter’s curriculum includes DVD teaching, a leader’s guide, and member study guides. Packets available for $75 on the patio.

Is it too hard to plan ahead to sign up for a date to be a childcare helper? Perhaps you enjoy playing with kids and are willing to help more than once? We currently have full time openings for two qualified preschool teachers (minimum of 12 ECE units) and two part time openings for teacher's assistants (minimum of 6 ECE units). SBCC Library

Visit our church lending library! We have books, CDs and DVDs for all ages to enjoy. The library is open before and after the morning services. You may donate Christian books to augment our library or to ship to seminaries, schools and churches in the Philippines. We look forward to seeing you in the library!
