Assistant Bookkeeper

We are Vacation Rentals of Santa Barbara (VROSB), one of the longest established vacation rental companies in Santa Barbara! We are locally owned and operated, and manage approx. 75 fully-furnished rental properties in the Santa Barbara area. We strongly value our relationships with our owners, guests, and within our team.
For this position, we are looking for an Assistant Bookkeeper who is masterful at noticing and responding to small details, staying organized and professional, all while maintaining a flexible schedule. These traits are not just buzzwords- they are essential for the success of this role.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Handling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Vendor insurance management
Bank reconciliation
Reviewing and processing security deposit returns
Communicating with team and outside vendors
Other bookkeeping duties as needed

Schedule:
20 hours per week (4 hours a day, 5 days a week)
Availability every Tuesday at 9am is required for team meetings
