Men’s Work Project – Oct. 13th
We are having another work day at Hope Refuge on Saturday, October 13 (8am-4pm) to try and help them ready their facility so that they can care for girls who have been trafficked in our area. If you have carpentry skills, they could be put to good use as we try to put one last roof on a dorm. If you are unskilled but want to lend a hand, there will be plenty to do! Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP HERE.
“Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17
“PRAXIS”…from the Latin meaning “to do” or “practice.” The word speaks of theory put into action and practice.
The goal of Praxis is to bring together the men of our church body in order to encourage, strengthen, and sharpen one another in our Christian lives through challenging guest speakers, thoughtful testimonies, small group discussion, and fellowship.
Our meetings occur twice a month (every other Friday morning), September through May. We meet at Santa Barbara Community Church at 6:15am for coffee, donuts, bagels, and fruit. Our group meeting continues from 6:30am to 7:45am.
Please join us as we meet other men of SBCC and grow from our time with one another. Interested individuals can get more information from the Announcements page, by logging into Community Connect, or by contacting one of the men listed below.
