More Opportunities & Info
Praying on Wednesday Mornings: We believe John Wesley was right when he said, God does nothing but in answer to prayer. Please come and pray with your church family on Wednesday mornings, 6:45 in the Fellowship Hall. We lift up God’s church to God, asking for his blessing and for the privilege of being used for his purposes in Santa Barbara and in the world.
Special Offering for the Poor – Feb. 18th & 25th: Scripture makes clear that the poor are close to the heart of God. On the final two Sundays of February, we have an opportunity to demonstrate our concern for the global poor by sacrificing above and beyond our regular financial giving to bless the poor and vulnerable. This month’s Special Offering for the Poor will be given to World Relief and split between their efforts to address both hurricane relief in Puerto Rico and the refugee crisis taking place among the Rohingya people displaced to Bangladesh. To learn more about World Relief’s important interventions in these two crises, please visit https://www.worldrelief.org/disaster-response.

HOPE International Poverty Simulation – Mar. 13th-14th, 6:30-9:00pm: In the face of overwhelming global need, it’s easy to feel paralyzed. As believers, we know we’re called to act—but what do we do?
